Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer

Sydenham Damerel is a pro-active council currently with three dedicated parish councillors, they now need to recruit a new clerk & RFO.

Working from home, the clerk is responsible for managing the council’s day to day business, providing advice and implementing decisions. Applicants will need to be computer literate, able to prepare council agendas, to record minutes and be a good communicator. Preparation and monitoring of budgets and managing the council’s assets and finances. Previous experience would be an advantage as would local knowledge, training is available if required.  Working hours are 2 hours per week and salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience, and in the ranges of LC1 SCP 13 £11.97 – LC1 SCP 17 £12.95 per hour)

The parish council currently meets 5 times a year on the third Thursday of the month.
