Instow Parish Council welcome applications for the post of Parish Clerk and Responsible

Financial Officer – start date in November 2021.

 

12.5 hours per week paid according to DALC scale relative to experience

 

About the Role

The Clerk will be home based, with remuneration for associated expenses. The successful applicant will be required to provide professional support and guidance in respect of the Council’s work, which includes overseeing several service contracts within the parish.

 

About You

The successful applicant will have experience in financial management and be competent

in a variety of administrative skills. They should be a good communicator and be experienced in managing the meeting process. They will work independently, managing multiple tasks for which good time management is essential. Experience in local authority / parish council procedures is desirable, but training is available.

 

About the Parish Council

The Council meet 11 times annually (evenings) at the Parish Hall. Additionally, there are several sub groups who meet in the day, specifically Finance, Beach Management and Contracts.
