Are you a strong team player with experience of parks, open spaces and/or general maintenance?
The role of Maintenance Operative is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated person with excellent team working skills to help the Council maintain its physical assets and open spaces.

The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience of open space or general facilities maintenance, ideally within a public sector or setting. Experience of working with the public, for a council or governing body is an advantage. Attention to detail, the ability to effectively manage competing priorities across a wide range of tasks are essential.

  • Salary: £25,183 to £27,711 (pay award pending, National Pay Scale LC1 (spinal points 6 to 12)
  • Hours: Full time (37 per week)
  • Based at Northam Hall but working across the Council’s area, buildings and open spaces.
  • 25 days leave
  • Contributory pension
