The leader of Devon County Council, Cllr John Hart, isn’t letting the pandemic get in the way of his annual ‘state of the county’ report to town and parish councillors. Every autumn, John organises a tour of Devon to meet community leaders, report on how the year has gone and preview what’s to come in the county budget for the following year.
We all know this year has been one of exceptional challenges and John will explain how this is affecting the budget-setting process for 2021/22 while at the same time gathering feedback from you on what your community’s main issues and concerns are.
Since physical meetings aren’t possible this year, DALC is supporting Devon County Council by hosting remote meetings for each district*. We encourage each council or parish meeting to send at least one representative.
All meetings take place at 5.30pm and will last approximately 1.5 hours. You can register for a place using the links below:
