We are hiring an Administrative Assistant to help our small, friendly and supportive team during a particularly busy period.

Are you a highly organised and motivated individual who can add value to our small, but friendly and supportive team?  The Devon Association of Local Councils (DALC) is seeking an experienced administrator to help us through a particularly busy period supporting parish and town councils in Devon.  You will play a vital role in providing administrative support and co-ordination to ensure the smooth operation of DALC’s activities.

The position requires:

• Proven administrative experience
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in using standard office software (Office 365)
• Familiarity with social media platforms and website content management systems
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

For the right candidate, there will be opportunities for professional growth, and/or for a contract to be extended beyond the fixed term period.
