Supporting mental health and wellbeing in communities 13/06/2023

Mental health training opportunities available for anyone who works or volunteers with children in the West Local Care Partnership area.

A lot of our member parish and town councils are now working on mental health and wellbeing projects to support better mental health; this often includes working on various local initiatives. Councils working in the West LCP area (check the map here to see which area you fall into) might be interested in these training opportunities for those working or volunteering with children. You can promote the training to groups in your area, or attend yourselves if you thought it was relevant.

There are two courses available: Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) and Mental Health First Aid.
