Free portrait of His Majesty the King for parish and town councils 13/02/2024

Parish and town councils can now apply for a free framed portrait of His Majesty the King via a government scheme.

To celebrate the new reign of His Majesty the King, the Cabinet Office announced a government funded voluntary scheme through the United Kingdom where all public authorities can apply for one, free, framed portrait of His Majesty.

The second phase of the scheme has now opened, so parish and town councils can now apply for their portrait. The deadline for applications will be 28 March 2024.

Once your registration has been accepted, you will be able to place an order and provide delivery details. You can read the FAQs here for any specific questions about the portrait and the scheme.
